Scorpion Solitaire

Two decks. Eight columns. Build sequences and clear them all.

Scorpion is a Spider-family game with a twist: cards move in groups regardless of whether they're properly stacked. That makes mid-game planning much harder than standard Spider - and the wins much more satisfying.

How to play Scorpion

Goal - Move all the cards to the Foundation

Decks

  • A standard deck (52 cards)

Redeals

  • No

Foundation

  • Automatically filled when a Tableau pile contains a pile ordered down by rank and by suit from King to Ace

Tableau

  • Built down by suit
  • The top card of each pile is available for move
  • Complete or partial piles can be moved
  • An empty pile can be filled with a King or a pile starting with a King

Stock

  • Press to deal one card to the first 3 Tableau piles

Strategy & tips

  • Trace each card's destination several moves ahead. Scorpion rewards multi-step planning over greedy single moves.
  • Empty a column as early as possible - it's your most flexible workspace.
