Golf is a quick, par-driven solitaire. Seven columns of five face-up cards. Move any exposed card whose rank is adjacent to the top of the waste. Clear the table for a hole-in-one.

How to play

  1. Deal 35 cards into 7 columns of 5 face-up.
  2. One card opens the waste pile.
  3. Move any exposed tableau card to the waste if it's one rank higher or lower (Aces are circular in Relaxed; one-direction in Strict).
  4. When stuck, flip the next stock card to the waste.
  5. Clear the tableau to score 0 - a hole in one.

Strategy & tips

  • Start with the longest possible chain rather than the easiest single move.
  • Track the suits in the waste - repeated ranks signal stalled chains.
  • Strict mode forbids wrap-around at Ace/King; in Strict, never strand a King.
