How to play
- Deal all 52 cards face-up into 13 columns of 4. Move Kings to the bottom of their columns during the deal.
- Build the tableau down regardless of suit, one card at a time.
- Empty columns may not be filled.
- Build foundations up by suit, Ace to King.
Strategy & tips
- Work backwards from the foundations - identify which cards block each Ace, then plan the unblocking sequence.
- Spanish Patience and Castles in Spain shuffle the rules slightly; pick the variant that matches your patience.
- Don't release every 2 immediately - sometimes a 2 in the tableau is more useful than on the foundation.
