Klondike (Triple) (Turn 3) Solitaire

The original. The one everyone calls just "solitaire".

Klondike Triple Turn 3 plays three full decks (156 cards) into the standard seven Klondike columns. Twelve foundations, three-card draw. Playthroughs commonly run 19 minutes per round; live win rates settle around 41% - meaningfully more solvable than the single-deck Turn 3, since the extra cards multiply your routes through the deck.

Strategy & tips

  • Mid-game the tableau will hold ~80 cards. Identify which suits are most-buried and prioritise unblocking those first.
  • Don't aim for completion early. The win path is unblock → consolidate → race.
  • Play aces and twos to the foundation immediately, but think twice before sending higher cards - you may need them in the tableau.
