Klondike (Double) (Turn 1) Solitaire

The original. The one everyone calls just "solitaire".

Klondike Double Turn 1 spreads two full decks (104 cards) across the standard seven Klondike columns. Foundations expand to eight piles - two of each suit - and the stock turns one card at a time. Generous and methodical: live win rates run ~55% across roughly 14-minute rounds.

  • Played with two full decks (104 cards) instead of the usual one.
  • Stock turns one card at a time - slower but more deliberate.

Strategy & tips

  • Two foundations per suit means you can park duplicate ranks temporarily. Use the parking trick to free buried Aces.
  • Empty columns are still gold - but with twice the deck depth, you may need to engineer two of them.
  • Play aces and twos to the foundation immediately, but think twice before sending higher cards - you may need them in the tableau.
