Klondike (Triple) (Turn 1) Solitaire

The original. The one everyone calls just "solitaire".

Klondike Triple Turn 1 plays three full decks (156 cards) across the standard seven Klondike columns. Foundations grow to twelve piles - three of each suit. Single-card stock keeps every card reachable, which is the only thing keeping live win rates as high as ~48%.

  • Played with three full decks (156 cards) - a marathon variant.
  • Stock turns one card at a time - slower but more deliberate.

Strategy & tips

  • Triple-deck Klondike requires bookkeeping. Track which suit-instance each card is going onto - they advance independently.
  • Empty columns become the spine of the late game. Hoard them through the early stock cycles.
  • Play aces and twos to the foundation immediately, but think twice before sending higher cards - you may need them in the tableau.
