How to play Easthaven (Double) (Kings Only)

Goal - Move all the cards to the Foundation

Decks

  • 2 decks (104 cards)

Foundation

  • Built up by suit from Ace to King
  • The top card of each pile is available for move

Tableau

  • Build tableau piles down by the alternating color
  • The top card of each pile is available for move
  • Group of cards in the proper sequence can be moved
  • (Kings Only)An empty pile can be filled with a King or a pile starting with a King

Stock

  • Press on the Stock to deal one card to each Tableau pile

What makes Easthaven (Double) (Kings Only) different

  • Played with two full decks (104 cards) instead of the usual one.
  • Kings only: empty tableau columns can be filled exclusively by Kings.

Strategy & tips

  • Two- and three-deck variants live or die on column space. Empty columns are precious - protect them and don't fill them with low-value blocks.
  • With Kings-only column refills, every King is a workspace. Plan to keep at least one King free at all times.
  • Play aces and twos to the foundation immediately, but think twice before sending higher cards - you may need them in the tableau.
