Sixteen reserve piles arc around eight foundations.

Crescent fans 16 reserve piles in a half-moon around the centre, where four Aces and four Kings start the foundations. Build inwards from both ends until they meet in the middle.

Variants in this collection

How to play

  1. Place 4 Aces and 4 Kings as foundations.
  2. Deal 16 reserve piles of 6 cards each in a crescent.
  3. Build foundations up from Aces and down from Kings, by suit.
  4. Move single cards between reserve piles in suit, either direction.
  5. Three redeals: each rotates the bottom card of every pile to the top.

Strategy & tips

  • Use the bidirectional building - sometimes returning a card to the down-foundation opens the right reserve.
  • Time your redeals: each one shuffles the bottom card up, drastically changing the board.
  • Relaxed allows extra redeals - use them when learning.
