Move all the cards to the Foundation How to play Canfield Place 13 cards face-down as the reserve, with the top card face-up. Deal one card to start each foundation - it sets the starting rank for all four foundations. Deal four tableau cards. Build down in alternating colours. Reserve cards feed into the tableau in priority. Stock cards turn 3 at a time, with unlimited redeals. Strategy & tips Play reserve cards aggressively - they're a bottleneck. Don't break a tableau column unless the move serves a clear plan. Track the deck on the second pass; you'll know what's still hiding.
