Foundation
- pile #1 is built up from base to King as follow: (A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K)
- pile #2 is built up from base to King as follow: (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, Q, A, 3, 5, 7, 9, J, K)
- pile #3 is built up from base to King as follow: (3, 6, 9, Q, 2, 5, 8, J, A, 4, 7, 10, K)
- pile #4 is built up from base to King as follow: (4, 8, Q, 3, 7, J, 2, 6, 10, A, 5, 9, K)
Stock
- The top card of each pile is available for move
Tableau
- Cards from Stock can be placed on any tableau pile
- The top card can be moved to a Foundation
Strategy & tips
- Memorise the four step counts and rehearse the sequence in your head before each play.
- Reserve one waste pile for high cards; don't bury a King under a Jack.
- Read the rules slowly the first time - these games reward understanding the goal before the moves.
